About me

A founding team member building Oscilar's AI Risk Decisioning platform from an empty repo. Today I lead the team behind our agentic AI systems—autonomous agents for real-time fraud detection, account-takeover prevention, and natural-language risk modeling. I've also owned the unglamorous foundations that make a risk platform enterprise-ready: authentication and API-key infrastructure, SOC 2 / ISO / PCI compliance, usage-based billing, and third-party integrations. My throughline is turning dense risk logic into a product teams can actually use.

Co-founded and built a real estate investing platform to solve my own problems as an investor—portfolio ROI tracking, cashflow analytics, and tools to discover new deals. I ultimately had to shut it down: the product worked and taught me an enormous amount about the domain, but it never found the adoption it needed to keep going. Being honest about that is part of building. Knowing when to step away from something you made is its own skill, and I'm glad I lived this chapter.

Early engineer helping grow a distributed SQL database into an enterprise platform. I led the user-experience team—making YugabyteDB something developers could actually deploy and operate across Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation—and became the person people came to for the gnarly infrastructure problems, including alongside the sales and pre-sales teams. This is where I learned to treat infrastructure as a product.

First engineer on the Business Development team, where I helped scale the technical org from the ground up and built the internal products and integrations—wiring Workday, Oracle, and Salesforce into Facebook's Ads and HR systems—that BD operations ran on. Later I moved into consumer product on the Pages team, building Brand Pages and Deals, features used by millions of businesses. Six years that spanned internal tooling to consumer products at global scale.
